The demo screen links below will open a new window so that the full screen shot can be easily seen. To return to this page, please close the screen shot window.
Main Screen - Provides easy access to your entire workload, including due dates, extensions, staff assignments and much more. All of the daily job updates, such as extensions, completion dates, tracking work-flow etc.. are accessed from this screen. Additionally, the filtering and sorting options provide the capability for dynamic screen and report information in virtually any combination of filters. Sorting can be changed by clicking the top of the column you want to sort on. Please note that not all of the fields are displayed in the example screen shot.
Calendar View Screen - Just added in the 2012 version! The calendar view provides a quick snapshot of the due dates for the entire year. Additionally, by clicking on any of the highlighted dates, you can drill-down to the individual jobs on that date.
New Job Screen - Set up new jobs in a matter of seconds. Simply select the client and the new job from the lists provided. TaskTracker will populate the period-end and the due date for that type of job. Once created the job will automatically be rolled forward to the due date.
Custom Task Screen - Allows you to create custom tasks and rules. TaskTracker already has numerous defined tasks available and in many instances those tasks are all that is needed by a CPA firm or company. However, most companies will probably need to add a few more for special circumstances. Common examples of custom tasks are local property tax or sales tax returns.
Client Screen - Numerous fields are available for maintaining client information. However, only the Client Name, Year-End and Entity Type fields are required. The remaining fields are entirely optional and for the most part are self-explanatory, but some explanation is probably helpful regarding the Client Group field which can be used to filter information and reports for a related group of clients and jobs. For example, a Parent company, subsidiaries, the owner of the company, trusts could all be a client group.
Example Due Date Report - Due date reports can be exported directly to an Excel file or can be printed using internal reports. Creating a report is easy and highly flexible. TaskTracker allows you to filter on any field, sort on three levels and to choose which fields are printed. By using a combination of these options you can obtain almost any report to meet your specific needs.
