Client Information Screen
TaskTracker has numerous fields available for maintaining client information. However, only the Client Name, Year-End and Entity Type fields are required.
The remaining fields are entirely optional and for the most part are self-explanatory, but some explanation is probably helpful on the following:
- The Default Assignments fields are used as the defaults whenever a new job is set up for the client. They can of course be changed at anytime and overridden for each job. The field names or Partner and Manager can also be changed as needed.
- The Client Group field is used to obtain reports and dynamic screen information for a related group of clients and jobs. For example, a Parent company, subsidiaries and the owner of the company could be a client group.
